Anacropora Care
Anacropora are often lumped in with similar SPS corals such as Acropora or Montipora but exist in their own Genus. Anacropora can be thought of as a cross between thin branching Acropora such as Acropora echinata or Acropora lokani and the unique appearance of Montipora setosa. They are very fast growing and slightly more hardy than either Acropora or Montipora.
Anacropora its chaotic, tangled growth pattern. This rare specimen has an extremely bright florescent yellow body and polyps. Coral of this type are quite hardy and tolerant of high nutrient levels and turbid water flow.
Water Movement : High turbulent flows are needed. Too much flow in one direction is not good. Provide a really good turbulent and varied flow pattern.
